|
I personally have never heard
a sermon on this subject. Whether in a church
or on a tape, nor have I ever read it in a book.
Therefore it is way past due… the subject,
not the book.
Why did God set up salvation -- the only
way to Heaven -- in the manner that He did?
Now once you start to look at salvation, from
the aspect as to why God set it up this
way. You then begin to see the creation of heaven
and earth, the angels and Lucifer/Satan, as well
as sin and free-will in a discernibly clearer
light!
The Apostle Paul stated in his letter to the Ephesians…
|
“(8) Unto me, who am less than the least
of all saints, is this grace given, that
I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable
riches of Christ; (9) And to make all men
see what is the fellowship of the mystery,
which from the beginning of the world hath
been hid in God, who created all things
by Jesus Christ: (10) To the intent that
now unto the principalities and powers
in heavenly places might be known by
the church the manifold wisdom of God, (11)
According to the eternal purpose which
he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord”
–
Ephesians 3: 8-11
|
What we are now going to look into, is this “mystery”
that Paul is referring to in verse 9. Which is
being viewed by, “the principalities and powers
in heavenly places” in verse 10 (these are the
angels of God). To see “the eternal purpose”
of God’s plan, verse 11.
For us to begin to understand this mystery we
must go back in time, to before “the beginning”.
To before the very 1st verse of the
Bible, in the book of Genesis. [This has nothing
to do with any ‘Gap theories’]
But before we can go back in time, we need to
establish a certain fact. That fact being; how
many heavens there are…
|
“I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years
ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell;
or whether out of the body, I cannot tell:
God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the
third heaven.”
– II Corinthians 12:2
|
By this verse we establish the Biblical fact that
there are: 3-heavens.
Paul has obviously numbered them according to
the order in which he passed through them. From
here (1st heaven) to where he ended
up (3rd Heaven).
The 1st heaven; that Paul is
referring to here, is visible outside by day.
It extends from the surface of the Earth to the
border of our upper atmosphere.
The 2nd heaven; that Paul is
referring to here, is visible outside by night.
It extends from the border of Earth’s upper atmosphere
to the border of the universe.
The 3rd Heaven; that Paul is
referring to here, is visible only
by faith in the Bible. It is an expanse that
goes on for infinity in all directions
outside the border of the universe in which we
live. God’s “Home” is this: 3rd Heaven.
Having established that there
are 3-heavens and described them, let us go to
the book of Genesis to further our understanding
of this fact.
|
“In the beginning God created the heaven
and the earth.”
–
Genesis 1:1 KJV
|
Here we have the 2nd
heaven we described previously, being created
on the 1st day of Creation in the very
first verse of the Bible.
|
“And God made the firmament, and divided
the waters which were under the firmament
from the waters which were above the firmament:
and it was so. And God called the firmament
Heaven. And the evening and the morning
were the second day.”
– Genesis 1:7-8
|
Here we have the 1st
heaven we described previously, being created
on the 2nd day of Creation.
Now at this point we have to make a choice. Did
the 3rd Heaven as Paul described it,
already exist or did God create it later?
There is nothing recorded in the Bible about God
creating it later.
Therefore it is logical and to me self-evident,
that the 3rd Heaven (where God lives)
was pre-existent prior to Genesis 1:1. In fact
I firmly believe that God -- cut an enclosed multi-dimensional
expanse into His pre-existent, infinite Heaven
-- at Genesis 1:1.
It is also logical and to me self-evident that
Lucifer -- whose name was later changed to Satan
-- and the angels along with other heavenly “things”,
were created by God prior to the 6-day
Creation described in Genesis chapter 1.
So…prior to the 1st verse of Genesis
there already was; 1-infinite Heaven, the Trinity
of God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), Lucifer,
the angels, and other Heavenly beings and things.
Then what happened?!
At some point in Eternity past…
|
“…Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest
up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect
in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden
of God; every precious stone was thy covering,
the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the
beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire,
the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold:
the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy
pipes was prepared in thee in the day that
thou wast created. Thou art the anointed
cherub that covereth; and I have set thee
so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of
God; thou hast walked up and down in the
midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect
in thy ways from the day that thou wast
created, till iniquity was found in thee.”
– Ezekiel 28:12-15
|
Lucifer, being lifted up with pride because of
his beauty and wisdom, decided that he was going
to take the Trinity down, ascend God’s Throne
and rule Heaven himself - as we will see in verses
we will quote a little later. He concluded that
God’s gifts were more important than God. That
dependence upon and obedience to God’s revealed
will, were not necessary!!
Lucifer went about this dastardly deed by negotiating
with the angels and planning a mutiny.
Let us step back for a moment, to view God and
Heaven at that point from the angel’s perspective.
All that the angels had known (up to this time)
was one-side of everything. They only knew the
beauty and wonderment of God - the loving, the
caring and concern, the fulfillment of all things.
In other words, they only knew the good-side of
God.
The angels did not know the justice and judgment
side, and the harsh reality - which that brings.
Why? Because there had never been any sin and
its resultant wickedness, ever introduced into
this infinite Heaven. Only loving, caring, beauty,
contentment, etc.
So since the angelic beings did not experientially
understand horrid wickedness, they did not know
what God was protecting them from nor the awesome
power and extreme measures God would have to utilize
to eradicate sin and the destruction it leaves
in its wake.
THIS…was the angelic beings time of decision
!!
Do they love their God and Creator, and take their
stand with Him?
Or…do they turn against Him and mutiny? Deluding
themselves into believing that they are self-sufficient
and that Lucifer can maintain their wants and
needs, along with the whole structure of everything!?
God gives every intelligent being that he creates
-- whether man or angel -- the free will to make
choices.
God did not want to program His creations to love
Him, as one would a computerized toy - who would?!
God wants His creations to make a conscious, from
the heart decision to love Him, and to get with
the program.
Remember, as we found in Genesis chapter 1, God
created 2-heavens, an earth and all that was in
them; in 6-24 hour days and rested on the seventh
day. So just imagine the awe-inspiring majesty
of God’s infinite Heaven!!
|
“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen,
nor ear heard, neither have entered into
the heart of man, the things which God hath
prepared for them that love him.”
–
I Corinthians 2:9
|
|
“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in
thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy
right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
–
Psalm 16:11
|
…Well the moment had finally arrived, the day
that Lucifer had chosen for to mutiny!
Now let us pull over and put it into park for
a minute. Question; is there time or a method
of marking time in Eternity? Near everyone I
have ever heard, states the answer to that question
is: No, there is not such a thing as time in Eternity.
Well, their bible college professors failed them
again. Turn to the book of Revelation, the very
last chapter.
|
“And he shewed me a pure river of water
of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out
of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In
the midst of the street of it, and on either
side of the river, was there the tree of
life, which bare twelve manner of fruits,
and yielded her fruit every month:
and the leaves of the tree were for the
healing of the nations.”
–
Revelation 22:1-2
|
Having established that there is a method
of time in Eternity, let us move on.
On this day of mutiny, Lucifer and one-third of
the angel beings in Heaven -- mistaking God’s
loving kindness for weakness -- arrayed themselves
in full rebellion against their Creator.
The faithful two-thirds firmly aligned themselves
at the side of their Creator and God.
But God ordered the trustworthy ones to stand
back, and see the Power of God!! Then God took
Lucifer, and in the words of the Lord Jesus Christ…
|
“And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as
lightning fall from heaven.”
–
Luke 10:18
|
We find more detail in the book of Isaiah…
|
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer,
son of the morning! how art thou cut down
to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will
ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne
above the stars of God: I will sit also
upon the mount of the congregation, in the
sides of the north: I will ascend above
the heights of the clouds; I will be like
the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought
down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They
that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee,
and consider thee, saying, Is this the man
that made the earth to tremble, that did
shake kingdoms”
–
Isaiah 14:12-16
|
And what about those rebel angels…
|
“…God spared not the angels that sinned,
but cast them down to hell, and delivered
them into chains of darkness, to be reserved
unto judgment”
–
II Peter 2: 4
|
At this moment that they were kicked out of the
3rd Heaven; Lucifer’s name was changed
to Satan and these fallen angels became what we
call: devils, demons, evil spirits, fallen angels
– take your pick.
So you may ask, how do we know that two-thirds
of the angelic beings chose God to be their Lord,
and that one-third rejected God to be their Lord?
|
"And there appeared another wonder
in heaven; and behold a great red dragon,
having seven heads and ten horns, and seven
crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew
the third part of the stars of heaven,
and did cast them to the earth: and the
dragon stood before the woman which was
ready to be delivered, for to devour her
child as soon as it was born”
–
Revelation 12: 3-4
|
Can “the third part of the stars of heaven” be
a metaphor referring to angels?
|
“The mystery of the seven stars which thou
sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden
candlesticks. The seven stars are the
angels of the seven churches: and the
seven candlesticks which thou sawest are
the seven churches.”
–
Revelation 1:20
|
The King James Bible will define itself, if you
study it.
Therefore, having established and brought together
some of the facts and circumstances surrounding
the angelic beings, Heaven and the choice they
had to make.
Let us now establish and bring together some
of the facts and circumstances surrounding human
beings, the Earth and WHY we have to
make the choice we have to make.
I am now going to speculate as to the exact
order of these events, because the Bible does
not give us the exact order.
At any rate, Lucifer having schemed up his plan
for mutiny, made a conscious decision
to implement it.
At the approximate time he began his
recruitment efforts, I believe the Trinity of
God decided to move on Their plan.
It was at this point in Eternity Past, that
Jesus Christ cut -- an enclosed multi-dimensional
expanse into His pre-existent, infinite Heaven
-- to start the beginning of the universe, as
we know it – Genesis 1:1.
Then, turning to the book of John chapter 1,
we find…
|
“IN
THE beginning was the Word”
– John 1:1a
|
Notice
the word “was”. Was - is past tense, or means
previous to. So the important point that we
want to deduce from what this verse is stating
here is this; In the beginning “the Word” already
was… that “the Word” was previous to the beginning.
Who or what is this
“Word”? Go to verse 14…
|
“And
the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among
us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory
as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.”
–
John 1:14
|
It is obvious; “the Word” is another name of
the Lord Jesus Christ.
Now let us go back and look at the first 3-verses…
|
“In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word was
God. The same was in the beginning
with God. All things were made by him;
and without him was not any thing made
that was made.”
–
John 1: 1-3
|
My reason for going over these verses in the
book of John is to establish the fact that;
| A. |
When
the Bible uses the phrase “in the beginning”,
it is a reference to Genesis 1:1. |
| B. |
That the Bible establishes there to be PRIOR
existence to Genesis 1:1. |
| C. |
To establish the fact that Jesus Christ --
the baby in the manger -- is God and the Creator
of ALL the Universe. |
And this verse, from Psalm 90:2 - "Before
the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou
hadst formed the earth and the world, even from
everlasting to everlasting, thou art God."
As stated previously, Genesis 1:1 is the beginning
of this Universe and this Earth.
The beginning day they were created, approximately
6,000 years ago.
I am very aware that John 1:1 is one of the
verses that “Gap Theorists” twist to supposedly
prove their point. But it is a fact that
- the “Gap Theory” and its pre-Adamic men
scenario with its harmonization with Geological
Evolution, is Esoteric Christianity based upon
the “Secret Doctrine” of the Babylonian Mystery
Religions from the days of Nimrod!!
For more information about this, read our
article entitled: Gap Hypothesis.
Now back to; the implementation of plans …
So to coordinate Lucifer’s plan and the Trinity’s
plan, is in keeping consistent with the known
fact that God is ALWAYS a step or more ahead
of anything and everything. Or, to state it
another way…Has it ever occurred to you,
that nothing has EVER occurred to God?!
Therefore, God knew of Lucifer’s plan. He knew
the culmination of this plan. God also knew
He would have to do something with Lucifer and
his defiant followers. So God as is His ways,
took ALL temporal and eternal aspects into consideration.
This is the stage, or relevant point in God’s
eternal plan where our Universe comes into it,
this Earth comes into it, and us human beings
come in – the eternal significance of man and
his destiny!
At Genesis 1:1 - God is setting up a scenario
where in God, can exhibit before His loyal angels
-- who kept their first estate -- by choosing
God to be their Lord …What sin is, what sin
does, how sin multiplies. Also, sin’s causes
and effects as well as the extremes to which
sin can go.
All of God’s infinite Heaven will learn; the
consequences of sin. The power that it has
to torture, maim, kill and/or destroy. Besides
the severe horrors of war and murder, there
are babies that are cooked and eaten or burned
as sacrifices. Children and adults are tortured,
raped, beaten, dismembered, poisoned, etc.
These are some of sins ultimate catastrophies.
There is no love, no beauty, no kindness, no
caring, and no comfort in sin. Sin perverts
these things, twists these things and sometimes
uses these things to draw one into sin or to
draw one deeper into sin.
Sin ultimately ends up in hatred, misery and
utter despair.
Many times have I heard the statements, “God
calls sin, sin - because its fun” or “If its
fun, it must be sin”.
I myself had made these statements several times,
before I was Born-Again.
But, the real reason God calls sin, sin is because…
God knows that somewhere down the line, somebody
is going to get hurt. That it will eventually
lead to variable degrees of the abhorrent ugliness
we just previously discussed.
Sin is also; the defiance of God’s laws. We
must remember, this is - His Universe!
He is - the Creator! Therefore: He has
the right to make the laws and the rules.
It is His sovereign prerogative.
For without this Biblical God; you, I, no-one
and nothing could or would exist…
|
“For by him were all things created,
that are in heaven, and that are in earth,
visible and invisible, whether they be
thrones, or dominions, or principalities,
or powers: all things were created
by him, and for him: And he is before
all things, and by him all things consist.”
–
Colossians 1:16-17
|
The angels NEVER knew sin or what it was about,
prior to the creation of this Earth and its
two heavens! But now they are to see it: FULL-BLOWN!!
So as Lucifer is making the rounds throughout
God’s Heaven, recruiting his armies and drawing
up plans. The Trinity of God -- Jesus Christ
in particular -- embarks upon the six-day Creation
as stated in Genesis chapter 1, approximately
6,000 years ago.
At the end of those 6-days, man and all else
had been created. So on the 7th-day
God rested. For in this enclosed multi-dimensional
expanse that we call our Universe; all was well
and good!
At some point, before the day of mutiny - Lucifer
made a visit for a look see…
|
“Thou hast been in Eden the garden of
God; every precious stone was thy covering…”
–
Ezekiel 28:13
|
Then… at some point after this… the day of mutiny
came.
God (Jesus Christ) met Lucifer/Satan head on
with raw power! But instead of destroying him
and his deviant mutants, God cast them out of
His infinite Heaven (the 3rd heaven
as described by the Apostle Paul) into the 2nd
heaven. So this incident had to have happened
AFTER, the 1st and 2nd
chapters in the book of Genesis.
Then at some point after this, Satan came into
the Garden of Eden and entered into a serpent
creature (Genesis chapter 3). This serpent
creature at this point in time had legs, probably
4.
Genesis chapter 3 contains the rest of this
historical moment where Satan beguiles Eve at
the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Here is where Eve (and Adam with her),
eat of the forbidden fruit and thereby we have
the fall of the human race into sin.
An interesting little side note to this, is
when God takes the serpent and converts it into
a snake. I have read a couple of times where
evolutionists claim that in the evolution of
the snake, that it lost its legs. That by inspecting
a snake’s vertebra, it can be determined where
legs were once attached.
At any rate, from the 1st-day of
Creation to the day that sin entered into this
world, was approximately 125-130 years.
How do we come up with this estimate?
“And
God said, Let us make man in our image,
after our likeness…”(Adam is created
in the image and likeness of God)
–
Genesis 1:26
|
But, after sin entered into this world by way
of Adam and Eve - the Word of God then states…
|
“And Adam lived an hundred and
thirty years, and begat a son in his
own likeness, and after his image;
and called his name Seth”
–
Genesis 5:3
|
We see in this verse that Seth was born in the
likeness and image of Adam. Also remember that
Cain, Abel and however many others were born
before Seth. Therefore -- as recorded
historically in the Holy Bible -- Seth was the
1st born AFTER the fall of mankind,
when Adam was 130 years old.
No longer were men born in the image and likeness
of God. From the fall of mankind… even till
today, men are born in the likeness and image
of Adam.
When Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate of the
forbidden fruit, they were changed - bodily.
In the image and likeness of God they were no
more. And the Bible factually designates Seth,
as the 1st-born after the fall.
For more information about this ‘change’,
read our article entitled: Just WHO are these
giants in Genesis 6:4?!
At that point on; all eyes in the 3rd-Heaven
are locked on this “soap-opera” which is being
played out upon this Earth...
|
“The LORD looketh from heaven; he
beholdeth all the sons of men. From the
place of his habitation he looketh upon
all the inhabitants of the earth.”
–
Psalm 33:13-14
|
|
“Of which salvation the prophets have enquired
and searched diligently, who prophesied
of the grace that should come unto you…
which are now reported unto you by them
that have preached the gospel unto you with
the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which
things the angels desire to look into.”
– I Peter 1:10 and 12b
|
|
“For I think that God hath set forth us
the apostles last, as it were appointed
to death: for we are made a spectacle
unto the world, and to angels, and
to men.”
– I Corinthians 4:9
|
God could not allow sin to play itself out in
His infinite Heaven, so He made this enclosed
Universe. He kicked Lucifer/Satan out of His
Heaven, into this Universe. God created the Earth
and placed man upon it, to allow all the scenarios
of sin to play out and to expose sin for what
it is all about.
In reality there is truth to the cliché; “All
the world is a stage, and we are but players
upon it” (or something to that effect).
God could have destroyed Lucifer/Satan and his
demonic angels in an instant, in the Lake of
Fire – Matthew 25:41. But God in His infinite
wisdom decided that it would be best for the
angels who stayed with Him and chose Him to
be their Lord, to get a glimpse of what Heaven
would have been like with Lucifer/Satan
in charge… and in control.
Now without going thru the Bible, with all of
its covenants and scripts that have been imposed
on this stage and its myriad of players. I
just ask you to think… look around… and remember.
Beginning with yourself - consider the effects
of sin, misery and evil. In and around your
life, in and around others you know or have
heard about.
In recent history - contemplate Stalin, Hitler,
Saddam Hussein, the United Nations. Get the
picture?
God KNEW -- that if, He would have created
new angels to replace the ones who refused Him
to be their Lord -- that eventually…
He would have another mutiny in His Heaven,
with another upstart who would want to take
over!
Therefore…God has made this Earth to
be His proving ground, His testing ground.
For any and all who are to reside with Him in
Eternity Future…
|
“That in the ages to come he might
shew the exceeding riches of his grace
in his kindness toward us through Christ
Jesus.”
– Ephesians 2:7
|
Notice again the correlation with time, in Eternity
Future. “That in the ages to come” –
these ages are epochs of vast amounts
of time, for which God has tremendous plans
and extravagant wonders!
But the arena, where eternal decisions of destiny
are going to be made…
To
repent and choose from your heart, the Trinity
of God to be your Lord
-OR-
To
reject, the Trinity of God…
God has decreed this decision to be made in this
encapsulated and confined Universe, NOT in His
magnificently resplendent Heaven!
Let us now make a quick review…
In the infinite Heaven of the Trinity of God are
created Lucifer and an innumerable assortment
of angels, etc.
God cuts into His infinite Heaven, an enclosed
multi-dimensional expanse (our Universe), creating
2-heavens, 1-Earth and man, etc.
Lucifer and one-third of the angels mutiny against
God Almighty. God justifiably casts them out of
His Heaven (3rd Heaven) into this Universe
(2nd Heaven). God promptly changes
Lucifer to Satan, and the angels to demons.
God had made Adam and Eve; king and queen of all
the Earth, the 1st-heaven and the owners
there of. Satan and his demons could not have
access to this Earth and 1st-heaven
– unless Satan could wrest it permissibly from
Adam.
Satan wrested it, by a strategy of enticement
from Adam in the Garden of Eden. God changed
Adam and Eve from “sons of God” (Luke 3:38) to
“sons of man”. From Seth then on, all mankind
was depraved and owned by Satan.
Lucifer/Satan at that point in history became,
“the god of this world” – II Corinthians 4:
4 and “the prince of the power of the air (1st
heaven)” – Ephesians 2: 2
Jesus Christ who had created this Earth – GAVE
it to Adam. Satan then wrested it from
Adam. Therefore: the Earth became rightfully
- Satan’s.
Jesus Christ could not just TAKE the
Earth back, as many have supposed. Because
since the Earth now legally belonged to Satan…
for God (Jesus Christ) just to TAKE the Earth
from Satan, would be stealing. Since
Christ Jesus is God, He is Holy and cannot
sin. So, Lord Jesus Christ had to righteously
and legally take the Earth from Satan.
Therefore, Jesus had to come to this
Earth in Adam’s fallen form (son of man), live
a perfect-sinless life (to make restoration
to 'sons of God' possible), be killed as a sacrifice
(to take ownership of the Earth) and shed His
Blood to redeem mankind (for payment of the
sins we have commited).
|
“Who hath delivered us from the
power of darkness, and hath translated
us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
In whom we have redemption through
his blood, even the forgiveness of
sins: Who is the image of the invisible
God, the firstborn of every creature”
–
Colossians 1:13-15
|
When God the Father resurrected Jesus Christ
from the dead, 3-days and 3-nights after He
was crucified and entombed. Jesus Christ’s
body went from being in the likeness and image
of Adam, back to Adam’s original created
form; in the image and likeness of God (son
of God).
|
“For the wages of sin is death; but the
gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord.”
–
Romans 6:23
|
|
“For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it
is the gift of God: Not of works,
lest any man should boast.”
–
Ephesians 2:8-9
|
This “gift of God” is offered to all
on this Earth. It is entrance into The Trinity’s
infinite and majestic Heaven for all
Eternity!!
To accept God’s Free Gift, you need to;
Repent – from your heart, you need to
tell God that you are very sorry for having
sinned against Him…
|
Jesus stated, “the time is
fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at
hand: repent ye, and believe the
gospel.”
–
Mark 1:15
|
Then – ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart,
to be your Lord and Savior…
|
“Likewise,
I say unto you, there is joy in the
presence of the angels of God over
one sinner that repenteth.”
–
Luke 15:10
|
Having -- from your heart -- made the definite
decision that Lord Jesus Christ is now to be
your Lord…
|
“Beloved,
now are we the sons of God, and it
doth not yet appear what we shall
be: but we know that, when he shall appear,
we shall be like him; for we shall
see him as he is.”
-I John 3:2
|
When we are resurrected, as Jesus was resurrected…
on our way into God’s wondrous and infinite Heaven,
our bodies will be changed into perfection…
|
“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trump: for the trumpet shall
sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed. For this
corruptible must put on incorruption,
and this mortal must put on immortality.”
– I Corinthians 15: 52-53
|
But
for now, at the moment you are Born-Again; Jesus
Christ baptizes you in the Holy Spirit…
|
“In
whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard
the word of truth, the gospel of your
salvation: in whom also after that ye
believed, ye were sealed with that
Holy Spirit of promise”
–
Ephesians 1:13
|
At that point you have all of the Holy Spirit
you are ever going to get…but, the Holy Spirit does
not have all of you!! You must now allow the
Holy Spirit’s influence to continually grow in your
life… day by day, month after month, year unto year!
Lord Jesus Christ also
offers you…
|
“In
my Father's house are many mansions
… I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again, and receive you unto
myself; that where I am, there ye may
be also…Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we
know not whither thou goest; and how can
we know the way? Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by
me.”
–
John 14: 2-6
|
AND-
|
“How
excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God!
Therefore the children of men put their
trust under the shadow of thy wings. They
shall be abundantly satisfied with
the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt
make them drink of the river of thy
pleasures. For with thee is the fountain
of life: in thy light shall we see
light.”

Psalm 36: 7-9

So, how can you know these
things for sure?
|
“And
this is the record, that God hath given
to us eternal life, and this life is
in his Son. He that hath the Son
hath life; and he that hath not the Son
of God hath not life. These things
have I written unto you that believe
on the name of the Son of God; that
ye may know that ye have eternal life,
and that ye may believe on the name of
the Son of God.”

1 John 5: 11-13

But
a word of warning is issued, very directly and strongly,
by Jesus Christ himself…
|
Jesus stated, “He that rejecteth me, and
receiveth not my words, hath one that
judgeth him: the word that I have spoken,
the same shall judge him in the last day."
– John 12:48

So now, we understand salvation and WHY God went
about it in the way that He did!
